Location of Van Gia floating fishing village

Van Gia floating fishing village (Quang Ninh) is extremely famous between Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. It belongs to Hung Thang commune (Ha Long City). The fishing village is located in the calm sea area covered by rock.

Origin of Van Gia floating fishing village

Van Gia floating fishing village originated from two fishing villages, namely Giang Vong and Truc Vong. This is an indispensable population of Ha Long Bay. So far, there are more than 300 households living in the fishing village. The housing system here close together, extremely cute and lovely. The children are taught by their parents how to row and swim at a young age.

Van Gia floating fishing village also embraces a rich historical geological treasure, which contains the oldest cultural history of Vietnam. Many scientists discovered it when excavating some caves near the village, including Tien Ong Cave.

Kayak around the village

When night falls, visitors will be free to kayak around the village, pull the net with fishermen, go out to squid, and engage in the activities of fishermen. There is a type of tourism that many visitors enjoy when visiting Van Gia – Cua Van is interesting night squid catching.
