Situated in the East of Cat Ba Island in Hai Phong City, Lan Ha Bay is about 160 kilometers far from Ha Noi (not included ferries). Lan Ha Bay has the arc shape with approximately 400 large and small islands with the area of 7.000 ha of which 5,400 ha belong to the biosphere reservation, recognized by UNESCO – Cat Ba national Park. Moreover, there are more than 139 small beautiful golden sands on Lan Ha Bay, which look like straits, spread out whole the bay.
